Clever!May 23, 2010 I love all the song books by Mary Ann Hoberman and/or Nadine Bernard Westcott, and this is one of my favorites. My kids love listening to songs, especially with pictures! The illustrations and lyrics are very clever. Love it!

Love this bookDec 14, 2008 I got this book when my oldest daughter was 1 and have been singing it for the past 3 years. All my kids love it. Highly recommended if you like to sing to your kids. There are a lot of verses to this one! The kids always giggle and have fun.

One of the first books my 2 year old daughter "read"Dec 15, 2006 One day I was changing my then 20 month old's diaper, and she started signing "Mary had a little lamb..." - I was shocked! It took her a while to start talking, and I think the singing really helped. She regularly wants us to sing-read this book to her, knows if we miss a page or a verse, and loves the part where the lamb says "BAAAAAA". She loves other books in this series, too (Skip to My Lou, Eensy Weensy Spider). The illustrations are cute, and the rhyming is great to help build verbal skills!
