The story is great, and the song "Don't Get Your News from a Chicken" is hilarious, and extremely catchy.
Chicken standards aren't the highest
And their news is always biased
By the fact that it's reported by a chicken!

My title about sums it up. After "The Case of the Hooking Bull", "The Case of the Missing Cat", and "The Wounded Buzzard on Christmas Eve", this was hard to take. Those were on cassettes-maybe this just isn't a good format for Erickson.
